Connect / Disconnect (2015)

Bronze
46 x 36 x 10 cm. (18 x 14 x 4 in.)

Connect / Disconnect examines the tension between intimacy and separation as a lived, embodied condition. The work reflects how systems of attachment—social, emotional, and technological—simultaneously promise connection while enforcing distance and control. Positioned within Anatomies of Control, the piece considers how relational bonds can become sites of regulation, where proximity is mediated, restricted, or withheld, shaping the body’s capacity for presence and agency.
