Desired / Damned (2026)
Bronze
32 x 28 x10 cm. (13 x 11 x 4 in)
Desired / Damned explores the duality through which the female body is simultaneously celebrated and condemned. The work reflects how desire operates as a mechanism of control, producing visibility while enforcing moral judgment and constraint. Within Anatomies of Control, the sculpture examines how attraction becomes disciplinary, binding the body to conflicting expectations that oscillate between reverence and punishment.
