Don’t Touch (1998 - 2026)
Mixed media: Bronze, vintage brass box,
Variable dimensions
Don’t Touch confronts the politics of access, violation, and forbidden desire through the metaphor of containment. The work reflects how the female body is simultaneously displayed and protected, rendered untouchable while remaining vulnerable to exploitation. Within Anatomies of Control, the piece considers how prohibition functions as a paradoxical form of control—one that signals value while reinforcing power and silence.
