Double Witness presents the body as both observer and observed, emphasizing the instability of subjectivity under constant scrutiny. Through its dual-sided structure, the work reflects how lived experience is shaped by external surveillance and internalized self-monitoring. Positioned within Anatomies of Control, the piece interrogates how witnessing becomes a form of regulation, compelling the body to perform, anticipate judgment, and fracture under sustained visibility.
