Reliquaries of Her examines the preservation of the female body through acts of fragmentation and containment. Drawing on the visual language of reliquaries, the work reflects how ideals of beauty and perfection are maintained by isolating and safeguarding select features while erasing the whole. Situated within its eponymous series, the piece critiques the violence embedded in acts of reverence, where preservation becomes a means of control rather than care.
