SELECTED ARTWORKS
Selected Artworks brings together works from the MFA portfolio alongside additional sculptures that extend and contextualize my practice. The selection is anchored by the two primary series, Anatomies of Control and Reliquaries of Her, and is complemented by works presented within the categories Figures and Independent Works. Together, these groupings reflect the broader scope of MyBody–MySelf—an ongoing investigation into the female body as a site shaped by cultural inscription, lived experience, and systems of regulation.
The works encompass abstracted torsos, figurative forms, and symbolic objects, employing bronze, mixed media, and relief-based processes to examine embodiment, restraint, fragmentation, and presence. Within the series-based works, the body is frequently partial, contained, or mediated through architectural and reliquary-like structures, foregrounding themes of compression, enclosure, and control. The Figures and Independent Works categories provide space for more direct engagement with the body and for works that operate outside the formal constraints of the major series, while remaining conceptually aligned.
While individual works may function independently, they are conceptually interconnected through a critical engagement with how the female body is represented, disciplined, and internalized within cultural frameworks. Together, the series and categories articulate a practice that moves between sustained research inquiry and exploratory production, positioning sculpture as a means of examining power, agency, and bodily autonomy over time.
Individual works can be accessed through the series and category thumbnails.
